The W:O:A Metal Battle is on lap 8 and we want your applications!
Since the beginning in 2004, W:O:A Metal Battle became the biggest talent competition for newcomer bands in the Heavy Metal Sector. Winner bands from Germany, Israel, Brazil and the Champion 2009 “Crysis” ((http://www.myspace.com/crysys666) emphasize the international character of the competition and prove that there are still uncountable young and talented Metal bands all over the world, who don´t need to dodge behind established stars.
The winner band of W:O:A Metal Battle will get miscellaneous material prizes like Artist Endorsement Deals of our partners. The winner of the international W:O:A Metal Battle will additionally get a record deal with Wacken Records- the ultimate first prize!
By this time, 25 different countries take part in the Metal Battle. USA and Canada are currently in negotiations. Denmark, Czechia, Portugal and Great Britain (their winner has already been chosen at the Bloodstock Open Air) are the latest participants in 2010.
The international Metal Battle final will take place at the W:O:A 2010 on the W.E.T. Stage (short for Wacken Evolution Tent) from 5th-7th August 2010.
